Aftercare Arrangements - What to do
with Cat's Body?
Following
home euthanasia, most cat owners choose to have their cat's remains individually
cremated and returned to them.
Dr. Rowell recommends Immediate Animal
Services for return of your beloved cat's individual remains. Richard Gruhn,
owner of Immediate Animal Services has been in business in the Marietta area
since 1984. Mr. Gruhn has several urn styles to select from for your beloved
cat. He also has the capabilities of cremating without returning the
ashes.
If you do not wish to have your cat's remains individually
cremated, there are other options: communal cremation, burial at the cat
cemetery, or collection by a city agency if your city or town offers such
services. You must check the local statutes of their county to see if burial is
allowed.
